  1. Hi. Saifi Bhai, Sabir Chauhan from Lahore. How are you dear? Is there any progress in case of Selection Grade Stenographer's case. I have written to Prime Minister, SecretaryFinance and Establishment, but till today all in vain. No reply from any end is received. Our problem only can be solved if it is presented in Electronic Media. Due to a road mishape I am not in a position to do more except written applications. Media wants links/source to reach upto them from different ways, as you know this is Pakisstan and I will say Zindabad.

  2. The Honourable Prime Minister,
    Islamic Republic of Pakistan,

Subject: REDRESSAL OF GRIEVANCES/REMOVAL OF DISCREMINATION

    Respected Sir.

In continuation of my application dated 2.8.2013 (copy enclosed) on the subject cited above and I am submitting as under the additional examples of beneficiaries of the Senior Scale Stenographers working in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab in support of my grievances occurred due to non-granting me the benefit of up-gradation of the post of Stenographer and declaring it as Gazetted, grant of Next Scale and one premature increment as the up-gradation is declared as promotion by the Supreme Court of Pakistan and Finance Division for your sympathetic consideration and justice:

    1. that at S.No.3 of para-1 of the letter No.SO(FR)/FD/10-22/2010 dated 2oth June,2011 (copy enclosed), the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has granted next scale to their Senior Scale Stenographers from BPS-15 to BPS-16 as the post of Stenographer in provincial Government is in PBS-12.

    2. that vide No.FD.DC.14-38/78 pt-v dated 25th February,2013(copy enclosed), the Government of the Punjab has granted next scale to their Senior Scale Stenographers from BPS-15 to BPS-16 as the post of Stenographer in provincial Government is in PBS-12.

    3. Whereas, the post of Stenographer in Federal Government is in BPS-15 and Senior Scale Stenographers were in BPS-16. From 23.12.2011 on up-gradation of the post of Stenographer from BPS-15 to BPS-16, the Junior Stenographers have been granted BPS-16 with all ibid benefits. But, the Senior Scale Stenographers already in BPS-16 have not allowed BPS-17 the next above scale and other benefits, which leads to disparity/discrimination between Juniors and Senior Scale Stenographers.

    4. As on 23.12.2011, I was in Government Service and retired on 4.5.2012, I deserved to get all the benefits of up-gradation of the post of Stenographer as granted to Junior Stenographers.

Keeping in view the above your good honour is requested to kindly remove this discrimination on
humanitarian grounds by allowing me the Next Higher Scale as allowed to Junior Stenographers in Federal Government and to the Senior Scale Stenographers in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Governments from the date of up-gradation of the post of Stenographer i.e.23.12.2011.

An early justice in the matter is requested.

    Yours faithfully,
